Carbon Poker is the new version of what used to be the Poker.Com room. Poker.Com has recently started to wind down and its main focus has been placed on promoting the Carbon Poker room. The room itself is very solid and should have a very bright future if it is marketed correctly.
The Carbon Poker software has some excellent features that are unique to the room. Some of the most useful and interesting features are the ‘Rabbit Hunt’ and ‘Expose One Card’. The Rabbit Hunt feature allows you to see what card would have come next from the deck, whereas the Expose One Card feature does exactly what it says on the tin, and allows you to expose one of your cards instead of both or neither to your opponent after they have folded. This can be used to your advantage to manipulate your opponents if used wisely. There are also a number of other useful features just like these built into the software that are freely available to use |

Carbon Poker has a sign up bonus of 100% up to $200 for all new depositing players. In addition to this bonus, players will receive 1 entry into any $1,000 freeroll along with free entry into every $500 freeroll for two weeks. Collecting ‘comp points’ redeems the bonus, which are obtained by playing is money tournaments and cash games. A further interesting promotion on offer from Carbon is the ‘Royal Flush’ promotion, where you will receive 100 times the big blind if you are dealt a royal flush. So for example, if you are playing at the $1/$2 limits, you will receive $200 every time you are dealt a royal flush. |

Interface and Customer Service: 6/10

As already mentioned, Carbon Poker has some great software and features available to the players. Such features like expose one card, rabbit hunt and player accolades where you can accumulate trophies next to your name by winning large tournaments. These features make the game more entertaining and so you will find yourself coming back time and time again to the tables to play those extra hands. The table and lobby graphics are nothing special, but the interface is easy to use. |

All of the usual games of Texas Holdem, Omaha and Stud are available from Carbon Poker with varying limits available for each. The games are also available in the limit, pot-limit and no-limit formats.
The only method of contacting customer support currently available is email. The response time for this service is very fast, but it would be useful to have a phone and live chat service at hand. It is probable that as the room expands over time, that these services will be made available. |

Player Difficulty and Frequency: 4/10

The player volume at Carbon Poker is very standard. There are enough players to allow you to play at the variety of games and limits on offer without any problems. However the room cannot compete with some of the bigger rooms on the market when it comes to player traffic, and so you may find yourself bumping into the same players time and time again if you regularly play at the same game and limit. |
