Celeb Poker is part of the Boss Media network, which is mildly respected as an online gaming network. Celeb Poker is not one of the most well established poker rooms but it does offer some quality software with good customer support to back it up. |

Celeb Poker offers a 100% bonus up to $200 for every new depositing player. The bonus can then be redeemed from your bonus account into your real money account by generating rake at the cash tables and tournament tables. However, the bonus is pretty poor when you consider that you have to generate $50 in rake for every $10 in bonus, so essentially it is not much of a bonus at all. To receive the full $200 you will have had to generate $1000, so the poker room will not mind at all if manage to retrieve the full bonus amount. |

The software is fairly standard, but it does not offer too much in the way of special features. The table and lobby design is also quite bland with a dull colour scheme and with nothing attractive to look at. However it is easy to keep up with the action at the table as the software makes it clear when another player has folded, or how much time you or others have left when making a decision. As far as for running the software goes, you shouldn’t have a problem with bug and glitches, and everything should run very smoothly as long as you keep a good Internet connection. |

Celeb Poker offers the standard Texas Holdem, Omaha and Stud versions of the poker game along with the addition 5-card-draw game, which is popular amongst European players. |

The main special feature of Celeb Poker is that it offers its players the opportunity to play against some semi-celebrities at the poker tables. These celebrities include actors and sportsmen, but the majority of them are European, so any players outside of Europe will have trouble recognising a few of the names. The celebrities play at the most popular limits so you don’t need to be breaking your bankroll every time you play for the opportunity to compete with the celebrities at the tables.
The Boss Media network is decent, but it does not receive as much traffic as other more established networks like Microgaming and the iPoker network. However, you should not have too much trouble finding a table to sit down at, except for at the Stud and Omaha tables where the action can be a little dry at time. If you stick to the Texas Holdem tables you shouldn’t have too many problems with lack of players. |
